About the event
Join us on Thursdays at 7 pm in the Sanctuary for Watching the Stars: Contemplative Advent Services. In the culture surrounding us, this time leading up to Christmas is fast-moving and filled with festive lights and sounds. These services are provided as a counter-balance to all of the hustle and bustle often associated with this season.
Come to the church to quiet your mind. Allow your heart to rest. Come to be nurtured by the Spirit of Gentleness.
Contemplative music and meditative Scripture readings will be led by Trista Wynne, our Director of Ministries. Acoustic guitar music, quiet meditation moments, centering prayer and a brief devotion will be shared. All are welcome.
Services will be held on Thursdays, December 5th, 12th and 19th from 7:00 to 8:15 pm
